Public access is not identical across divisions. Adult civil and many adult criminal records are broadly accessible unless sealed or restricted. Juvenile, mental health, adoption, protected-person, minor, victim, medical, and financial materials have stricter limits. Public copies may be redacted, and the clerk may require party status, attorney appearance, or a court order.

CoCourts or other commercial register-of-actions access may provide limited real-time case activity for a fee, but document copies are not obtained from the vendor under the Judicial Branch access guide.
